Čevo is the easternmost peak of Ivanščica and a hugely popular hiking destination. The summit is not particularly high, nor is there a large mountain lodge on it. It owes its popularity to its proximity to Novi Marof and Varaždin, but also to the fact that the path up the northern side is extremely steep and challenging, while the one from the south is gentle and picturesque.
Its pointed shape earned it the nickname Zagorje Klek. It has two viewpoints – Balkon on the western side, looking over the Bednja valley, and Malo Čevo, with a view of Varaždin and its surroundings.
