Accessibility statement

The Tourist Board of the Town of Novi Marof is required to make its website accessible in accordance with the Act on the Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications of Public Sector Bodies (Official Gazette NN 17/19).

DRAFT

Draft statement. The compliance status and date will be confirmed by the Novi Marof Tourist Board after manual testing; oversight is carried out by the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Croatia.

Compliance status

This website is partially compliant with the Act and with the HRN EN 301 549 standard (WCAG 2.1, level AA), due to the exceptions listed below.

Non-accessible content

The map is a visual display: the route and the points on it are not available to screen readers as a map, but the same information is available in the page text (description, starting point, distance, ascent, and an elevation profile that can be operated with the keyboard) and in the GPX file. Some photo descriptions are still being improved. The route planner (building your own route) relies on the map and is not fully accessible to screen readers; ready-made routes, their descriptions and GPX tracks are available on this website.

Date and method of assessment

This statement was prepared on 28 October 2026 by self-assessment. Every page type is automatically tested with the axe tool (WCAG 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2, levels A and AA) on iPhone and desktop, and the Lighthouse accessibility score is 100. Manual testing with the VoiceOver screen reader is carried out before final publication.

Feedback and contact

Please report inaccessible content to info@tz-novi-marof.hr. We will reply within 15 days of receiving your report.

Enforcement procedure

If you are not satisfied with the reply, you can lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Croatia, Trg žrtava fašizma 3, 10000 Zagreb (www.pristupinfo.hr).
